F.B.M. is the first company to present a line of cookware accessories made with natural and regenerated materials. We developed the ECOSYSTEM using a new green compound in a controlled and verified process that complies with UNI EN principles. This collection is available with a wide range of handles, side-handles and knobs, which are planet-friendly by reducing resources and emissions through the employment of recovered material to create new products. This line also lowers the use and consumption of artificial chemicals replaced by natural materials from sustainable and verified sources.
The F.B.M. ECOSYSTEM line has also been verified by an external committee (SGS), a leading inspection, testing, verification, and Certification Company.
Our natural-based product is developed based on a deep analysis of how a cookware accessory could appeal to consumers who wanted a “green” product while still incorporating the following characteristics:
- Heat resistance
- Mechanical strength
- Affordability
- Compliance with international regulations
Natural Raw and Regenerated Materials Used
F.B.M. has taken great efforts to develop a formula for accessories using natural materials supplied by sustainable sources. This formula includes collaborating with certified supply partners and using exclusively raw materials coming from sustainable processes.
We also use regenerated materials which are recovered from internal production wastes. These materials, through a dedicated process are recovered, processed, and can then be re-used into our production flow, thus reducing the amount of wastes disposed. The minimum combined content from these two sources represents at least half of the product.
Regulations and Certifications
F.B.M. conducted a detailed study of applicable regulations and European governments’ environmental and sustainable issues. We wanted to produce high-quality products compliant with the required regulations.
Once we completed a deep review of the regulations and related issues, we set out all the criteria and requirements in a technical book. In it, we listed all the requirements an F.B.M. ECOSYSTEM product must meet. These steps make F.B.M. uniquely qualified to provide expert knowledge about compliance to standards and regulations with all our valued customers.
All F.B.M. ECOSYSTEM products are also validated and certified internally according to our Quality Management System and they use packaging with sustainable and recycled paper.
