ECOSYSTEM is a planet-friendly collection of cookware components made with Bio Based raw materials. The materials used to make ECOSYSTEM are obtained from sustainable and verified sources and have been tested according to UL Environmental Claim Validation Procedure for Biobased Content (37%).
Moreover, the collection uses regenerated wastes from our internal production and 36% of Recycled verified content.
The collection is available with several handles, side handles, and knobs. ECOSYSTEM is eco-friendly by reducing the level of emissions and resources required for manufacturing new products. It is heat resistant, and compliant with key international regulations. ECOSYSTEM will appeal to consumers looking for a product with mechanical strength, design, and reliability.
Furthermore, the ECOSYSTEM LOOK AT ME handles, knobs, and side handles are made from natural and restored materials using a dye-free compound without any added dyes. This collection stands out due to their unusual greenish tone. Each piece in the collection is truly unique, since there is no way to duplicate the dye tones from one to another. Natural variations in the product are normal and natural. The LOOK AT ME has all the features of the ECOSYSTEM collection for truly sustainable value.

FBM Receives UL Environmental Claim Validation
FBM's commitment to eco-sustainable production has received recognition through the prestigious UL Environmental Claim Validation.
The UL Environmental Claim Validation Mark is an indication that a company’s products and formulas have met UL’s rigorous review and validation process. Because many environmental claims can be vague, UL’s Environmental Claim Validations are designed to provide clear and precise claim language for maximum relevance and clarity.
As an example, if a product claims it “contains recycled material,” the statement would be true whether the product contains 1% or more recycled content.
On the opposite, UL’s Environmental Claim Validation for ECOSYSTEM instead, states clearly that it contains an average of 36% recycled content, allowing purchasers to clearly understand the precise environmental accomplishment. This approach also lets F.B.M. demonstrate commitment to share performances to its stakeholders.

Two new Environmental Product Validations
As result of the UL Auditing, ECOSYSTEM gained two environmental product validations for Ecosystem Black and Ecosystem Lookatme in Europe, South America and China.
Ecosystem have been validated with the following Environmental Product Claims:
- Environmental Claim Validation Procedure for Recycled Content, UL 2809
- UL ECVP 9798 – Environmental Claim Validation Procedure for Biobased Content
